1920 PILGRIM TERCENTENARY COMMEMORATIVE HALF DOLLAR - UNCIRCULATED

Presented is a
90% Silver
Half Dollar coin commemorating the 300
th
anniversary of the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth, MA in 1620.
The coin is
UNCIRCULATED
and exhibits very light toning around both obverse and reverse edges.
To the unaided eye, both surfaces appear free of any distracting abrasions, etc. but under magnification, extremely fine “scratches” are noted in the obverse field below the motto.
They appear to be raised metal and may be the result of the die being polished during the minting process.
