    1936 Elgin, IL Centennial Commemorative Silver Half Dollar, certified for
    grade and authenticity by PCGS as Mint State 66+ - issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Elgin in 1836, and the proceeds were devoted to financing a Pioneer Memorial statue which is depicted on the reverse of the coin.
