Description

This padi oat crackers (known as Emping Melinjo/Krupuk Belinjo in Indonesia, keropok in Malaysia) is a form of deep fried snack made from padi oats. They are a common snack food in Southeast Asian cuisine
Made of melinjo or belinjo or Padi Oat (Gnetum gnemon) nuts (which are seeds).
Emping crackers have a slightly bitter taste.
Cooking direction (also on the back of the package):
Pour enough frying oil into pan and wait until it sufficiently hot (about 320°
F or 160° C)
Drop the padi oat crackers and press continuously till it expand
Take out of frying pad and lay on adsorbent paper
Ready to serve
