BMW Airhead Custom Billet Top Triple Clamp Clear Anodized for Motogadget Gauge.
For sale is a custom designed and made billet aluminum upper triple clamp for BMW airhead motorcycles with 36mm fork tubes (see fitment statement below). I had this triple clamp custom designed and machined for me by Oshmo to seamlessly mount my Motogadget chronoclassic gauge on my 1980 R100 cafe project. It was based on their original clamp design with the added features to mount the gauge. I also had the two tapped holes added for single bolt handle bar mounts incase I ever wanted to use solid bars instead of clip-ons. It is one piece with a separate gauge mounting bracket that the gauge bolts to and slides in and is fastened to the triple. It will come with the fork pinch bolts and the bolts that mount the gauge bracket.
The triple arrived to me in bare aluminum and I had it and the gauge mount both clear anodized to protect the surface for years to come. As such, it is in like new condition, as it was only ever test mounted on my bike to verify the fitment before I ultimately decided to go a different route with my project. The anodize gives a very clean satin type of finish and looks very nice with the Motogadget installed. With the clear anodize treatment, I have more than 0 invested in this custom triple clamp setup, so just trying to recoup some of that. My loss can be your gain! Please message me with any questions. Fitment: This triple should fit most BMW airheads (R100 R90 R80 R75) before 1984 with 36mm fork tubes. It may also fit R65 but not positive. It fit great on my 1980 R100. Buyer is responsible for verifying fitment before purchase! With regards to the gauge fitment, it was designed to hold my Motogadget Chronoclassic (see pictures), but the classic series should fit as well.
