Description
BST601 is a comprehensive detection equipment for automotive engine electronic problem1.
BST601 can use OBD diagnostic interface main line and extension lines to connect with the car ECU fault diagnosis OBD connector. Diagnose OBD protocol ECU failure of automobile engine.
Read current fault code, read historical fault code, clear fault code, read each sensor data information.
Connect with Android phone to the BST601 device, display diagnostic information, and perform operations. Operators can use the blue and red indicator lights inside the BST601 device to determine whether the power and Bluetooth are connected.
The OBDII ECU diagnostic functions can be updated online.

BST601 has a multimeter DC voltage detection function. The black clip in the voltage detection line of the BST601 device is connected to the ground, and the detection red pen directly detects the voltage value. Used to detect whether the voltage value is normal, whether the power supply, sensors, components, and lines are open or short-circuited.

BST601 has a sensor simulation function. It can replace sensors and connect with car ECU. The sensor simulation function menu in the BST601 device can increase or decrease the corresponding sensor voltage or resistance signal value to the ECU, and then read the information through the ECU fault diagnosis data stream in the BST601 device to detect and judge whether the car sensor to ECU is faulty.
The sensors simulation function can simulate all voltage and resistance types of automotive sensors.

Diagnosis steps and methods of automobile engine electronic fault.
The first step is to use the BST601 device, OBD diagnostic interface main line, extension lines and Android phone to detect car engine ECU failures. Read fault code, read sensor data and information.
The second step is to use the BST601 device voltage detection line to test the corresponding sensor and line voltage value in the fault prompt to determine whether there is an open circuit or short circuit fault. Determine the sensor and line failure.
The third step is to use the BST601 device sensor signal simulator to simulate the communication between sensor and the car ECU. Determine the sensor, ECU failure.
The fourth step is to detect and drive the injectors and pump.(use the above functions according to the problem phenomenon). Determine whether the fuel injector or fuel pump are working properly. Or check start problem.
The fifth step, after the above steps are completed, after finding the corresponding circuit fault and repairing it, use the BST601 ECU fault diagnosis function to clear the fault code.
