This instrument is designed to identify and track wires or cables without damaging insulation.
You can also use it to check for short circuits and locate open circuits, etc.
The instrument includes a transmitter and a receiver.

How to use ?
The receiver's probe is made of steel coils that can be bent as needed to reach wires that have been swallowed or in difficult areas.
Depending on the circuit characteristics and sensitivity Settings, the probe will pick up the signal from the wire at a series of locations.
However, for optimal range, the probe tip of the receiver (black cap) should be perpendicular (90 degrees) to the wire being tracked and located above or below it.
