The CarPro Paint Decontamination Kit is preventative maintenance for your paint finish. CarPro Iron X and Tar X make it simple to remove paint-marring contaminants, like iron, tar, bugs, and asphalt. It's as easy as washing your car! The CarPro Paint Decontamination Kit should be used before applying Cquartz or any paint protection to ensure the strongest bond with the paint and the clearest finish.
The CarPro Paint Decontamination Kit includes:
500 ml. CarPro Iron X Spray
Iron X by CarPro is an acid-free, pH-balanced iron remover that decontaminates auto paint and wheels. Iron X prevents the spread of iron-related damage to protect your vehicle from paint system failure. Iron X is a clear solution in the bottle but it turns purple when it comes into contact with sintered iron particles.
500 ml. CarPro TRIX Tar and Iron Remover
CarPro TRIX Tar and Iron Remover combines two paint decontamination steps into one, saving you time and money! This product is designed specifically for pro detailers to prepare vehicles for detailing using less time, materials, and labor. CarPro TRIX is a strong degreaser, cleaner, tar remover and iron remover for virtually any exterior automotive surface.
500 ml. CarPro Tar X
Tar X safely lifts grease, tar, asphalt, insects, tire marks, adhesives, traffic film, and any other stubborn contaminants. There are no harsh chemical solvents and nothing to harm your vehicle. When Tar X is applied generously, it glows on dark or black cars. The visibility makes it easy to remove all of Tar X when rinsing.
Lake Country Foam Car Wash Sponge
This thick, ultra porous wash sponge is cross-cut with channels to pull dirt away from the paint as you wash your car. The foam is cut into cubes that agitate the paintwork to help release ferrous particles.
3 Microfiber Detailing Towels 16 x 16 inches
Use these microfiber detailing cloths for drying, buffing, or as a finishing wipe down. Microfiber is designed to be light, strong, super-absorbent and quick drying. The fibers are non-abrasive, and are woven so tightly that it’s absolutely lint free and extremely durable. Unbelievably, these ultra-tough fibers are engineered to absorb seven times their weight in moisture.
6 Poly Foam Applicators
The foam wax applicators can apply any wax evenly without creating any swirl marks. They are absorbent in order to catch drips or runs, and they apply perfect, even coats of paste waxes and polishes.
To use this kit, start with a clean vehicle. Apply Iron X Spray over the vehicle and wipe it in with a damp sponge. Apply Iron X Paste on vertical surfaces and/or wheels. Wait 5 minutes for Iron X to change color. Wipe it off with a damp sponge and then rinse off the entire vehicle. Dry the vehicle well.
Spray Tar X on dry surface. Let Tar X react on surface for 1~2 min. or brush/agitate with sponge pad (spray some TarX on the sponge as well). Rinse thoroughly with a power washer or flowing water. Dry the vehicle before applying paint protection.

Orders received Monday through Friday by 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) normally ship the same day. Orders normally ship within 1-2 business days. Once your order has been shipped we will send your tracking number to the email address provided.
Returns
Items must be returned within 30 days in new condition with original packaging. * See exceptions below. To return an item, request a return through the eBay Return Center to receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions. Write this number on the outside of the package. Products returned without authorization will not be accepted.
The cost of the returned items, minus shipping charges, will be promptly credited via the payment method used. It may take 5-7 days for your bank to process the credit.
If you have received a defective item, please contact us immediately for return/exchange information.
Custom-made items cannot be returned. These items are made for your specific vehicle. Custom items include, but are not limited to: car covers, custom seat covers, Lloyd floor mats, and custom license plates. Please verify that the information provided for a custom item is correct before placing your order. Custom items are noted as such on the product page. We can only accept returns on custom items in the event of a manufacturer error.
Covercraft: Per Covercraft, we cannot accept returns on the following car cover fabrics: Form Fit, WeatherShield HP, WeatherShield HD, and Sunbrella. A 15% restocking fee will be charged on all other returned Covercraft items, including ready-fit car covers, Canine Covers, pet products, and Seat Gloves.
Electronics: Returned electronics (including buffers, battery tenders, tire gauges, vacuums, and blowers) are subject to a 20% restocking fee if product has been used or opened. There is no restocking fee for a defective product returned in exchange for the same product.
Garage Mats: Per the manufacturers, a 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returned garage flooring/mats. A 15% restocking fee will also be charged on all returned Tornador Car Cleaning Tools.
Hot water extractors are non-returnable.
