Description

Hard to find vintage Wolkenstricker sweater from Germany.  Hand knit and embroidered.  Made of cotton and viscose.  Cardigan style.

he "Wolkenstricker" company was founded in 1979 by Eva Dietrich. Their goal is to ensure that hand knitting and embroidery, as well as their further development, are maintained with great responsibility in the future.
Due to the careful examination of wool, natural colors and the long tradition of old hand knitting patterns, Eva Dietrich began to create valuable jackets that are not only uniquely beautiful, but also comfortable and of a long style.
Even today, the fine natural materials mostly come from our own production. Samples for samples and models for models are developed in the Bergwieser workshop and artistically finished with free hand embroidery. With daughter Konstanze Hofinger, the second generation is already at work, developing new models and embroidery designs for cloud knitters.
Excitingly innovative, Wolkenstricker interprets the topic of hand knitting based on a long tradition and a feeling for today's style.
The skillful play with structures, refinements, materials and meanings creates works of art of emotional value.

The exclusive five hole Wolkenstricker button is unique and protected under patent law.
When sewn onto the fastener bar with a color-coordinated yarn the letter "W" is drawn.
The W button is individually coordinated to the respective cloud stricker model.
It is available in brass and brass silver-plated, wood, coconut and horn as well as in mother-of-pearl.
