Thank You.Vintage - Silver Beauty 440 Growler : I tested it to the best of my ability since I didn't have an Armature to run through the procedure. The bulb lights when it detects continuity, and there is a magnetic field on the "Wedges" where you place the Armature. Beyond that, you guess is as good as mine.

    Description

    I have a Silver Beauty 440 Growler
Didn’t have a clue what is was when I purchased it, but these things are selling for 0.00 to 0.00 here on E-Bay.
There is a YouTube Video Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9fbdVhMsgs  (Video Link)
(Link in photos if E-Bay Strips it from the ad).
That shows how it’s used to test a Delco Generator Armature from a 1960 Chevy.
The unit is all original so far as I can tell. I plugged it in the touched the two leads together as the video says it a continuity tester. The light came on, so I know for sure that function works.
I was also getting a Magnetic Field from the two “Wedges” as I think is supposed to create.
That said: It’s old, I’m Old, but I still want to become Older, so I unplugged it and am putting it up for sale as I don’t have any need for it. The oldest vehicle I own is my 1983 Goldwing and that has an alternator/stator.
I’m starting the auction at .49 (half of what the other lowest seller is asking), which will still leave you a substantial “Profit Margin” if you decide you don’t want it and decide to Resell it on E-Bay.
Listed as "Local Pickup Only" but I will box and deliver to the vendor of your choice listed below.
Smallest Box it fits in is: 12" X 10" X 7" and weighs 35lbs.  Please calculate your preferred shipping method (UPS, USPS, FedEx) Rates before bidding on this auction. You pay the shipping and insurance and e-mail me the label. This saves us both $$$.  Plus you have the added benefit of being the shipper, so if there is damage upon arrival, you, not I collect the insurance payment.
