s listing is for an Authentic 1983 original version of Ralphie's "Christmas Dream" Red Ryder lever action Carbine with the Compass on the Stock and Sundial "the thing that tells time" from the movie A Christmas Story. These gun's rarely go up for sale and are really rare and hard to find. 90% of the time one does go up for sale It's a fake! Lot # 3HO5943 Which means it was made in 1983 First year of production. They were made in 83 and 84. This gun is guaranteed authentic. I
